Arguably the most fun, incredible and heartwarming national tour we've had the pleasure of embarking on! So many hilarious, unforgettable moments and gigs with the boys - so great to be taking new music and merc classics to audiences all around Aus. our 'mousetrap heart' tour has kicked off and it's been a blast so far. thanks to the gong, newy & sydney for showing us an awesome time. huuuuuuge thanks to the OKAMOTO'S who flew all the way over from Japan to support us on our first three shows. they really blew us away! such a great bunch of guys who added an international and slightly crazy flavour that helped create a fun night for all. we really hope to see the OKAMOTO'S back in oz soon!

our NEW ALBUM 'mousetrap heart' is in stores today. after months of road testing, recording, flying around madly between Syd-LA-Melb and applying those magical finishing touches - it's finally here & we couldn't be more proud of the finished result.

starting July 1st, we hit the road for the 'MOUSETRAP HEART TOUR' and we can't freakin' wait! we've been working hard in rehearsals & can't wait to unleash our new live set! there's still some tickets left so go to the TOUR section of this website to get a ticket.

Hi there, Our new single is finally done! We're so excited to have it completed, and can't wait to show you. Our brand new single is called "Mousetrap Heart", and we've put a little preview up for your listening pleasure (the single comes out May 21). The Top 20 Contenders for the 2011 APRA Song Of The Year have just been announced, and Thirsty Merc has scored not one but TWO nods! The two songs in contention are 'Mousetrap Heart' and 'All My Life' (both penned by Rai Thistlethwayte) and if you're an APRA member we'd love for you to jump on the website HERE and cast your vote for the Merc!

wow!!!!! had such a great run of shows on the 'rock ya socks off' tour... massive thanks to the good people of ferntree gully, frankston, mulgrave, woden, taren pt, rooty hill & rouse hill!

hope to come back soon! as for the rest of you rrrrawwwwwwwkers... we are about to announce another big tour coming your way .... so stay tuned!
