Crying In Denial – the original working title was Lying In Denial. Again, it’s a very direct, straight up honest song. If you listen to it, you know exactly what I’m talking about. It’s just that thing where you feel you’re just not being honest with yourself. It was after a really big break-up. I was doing all I could to pretend that I was all over it and really happy and everything was all great again. But I had to get real with myself: ‘It’s not all alright. You’re terrible.’ It’s probably one of my favourite songs on the album.
