She's My Brother is another little bit of a lighter moment on the album. The way I came up with that was that I was driving along and I was heading over to my dad’s place and I just saw my younger brother driving his car towards my car. I saw him out the window and it was like: ‘Give me five!’ Our cars got seriously close together and we were going at some speed and he gave me this huge high-five out of the car window. Our hands just went crash! I kind of looked back and could see we were both cracking up. And I just thought, ‘He’s just the coolest guy, my brother.’ And She’s My Brother, I was probably having some girl problem at the time, as I always am, and I probably just thought: ‘I wish chicks could be like that – riding along and you give five out the window and it makes your day.’ Then all these weird lyrics came to me and that’s how She’s My Brother was born. It’s a fun tune.
